The apartment had loads of space and more appliances than I'd expected for the price. It was really well equipped for everyday living, with a dishwasher, dishwasher tablets, washing machine, hair dryer, cooking utensils, and cutlery. The location was great, and the check-in instructions were clear. The bed setup was disappointing. There was no mattress topper, just one fitted sheet that didn't fit properly and left part of the mattress bare. The blanket was too small, and the sheets weren't comfortable. Even compared with other places of this kind, the bedding was poor. There were plumbing problems too. The shower drained too slowly, so water spilled across the bathroom floor if I turned the pressure up fully. I had to be careful with the water flow. The faucet unit was loose on the wall, and although there was a handheld hose and an overhead shower, only the hose worked. There was a faint urine smell when I checked in, which wasn't a great first impression. The large built-in wardrobe had broken push-open mechanisms in some places, and one even fell out. The assembly could have been better.

Check-in and check-out were easy, and the hosts were responsive and helpful. Being able to reach them on WhatsApp was especially handy without a local phone number. The apartment was clean, spacious, and cosy, and I loved the style. It's just across the street from the old town, while still near the main roads, so getting in and out was easy without traffic jams. It's also convenient that they have several apartments in the same building.

We won't be coming back. The apartment feels like a pass-through place, and the wear is already showing. The beds were narrow and unstable, even for a child, the bathroom needs renovating, and the room felt like a large cheap hostel. The city-center location was a plus, as was the underground garage, though parking costs extra. So do the dog and arriving an hour early, which comes with a separate fee for every extra hour. We travel a lot and have rarely seen charges like these, probably never before. It's a shame.
