Apartamenty Homely Place 11 - Parking

The sewage smell was the worst part. It's a fairly new building, but the dishwasher, and probably the washing machine, seem to have been drained incorrectly in my unit, letting the odor in. The management ignored my requests for a week to unclog the shower. When the internet router stopped working on a Sunday, the woman on duty shouted, “What do you want from me on Sunday evening?” The furnishings are the cheapest IKEA stuff. The location is handy for the old town, but I eventually found places that were less expensive and much classier, even closer to the attractions. Stay away.

The breakfast cost $20 and was just 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 grape tomatoes, and 2 pieces of bread. Total rip-off. The photos on hotels.com didn't match the apartment, and there were cracks in the walls, barely any amenities or condiments, and only soap in the bathroom. The mattress and pillows were small and uncomfortable. The office was away from the apartment, so check-in took a while as I had to get through traffic there and back. I paid for parking in advance, and for some reason I couldn't leave a review on hotels.com either. I'm extremely dissatisfied and won't rent from this agency again.

We were wary after reading some reviews, but my family and I were delighted once we arrived. The building was spotless, modern, and quiet during our late September stay. We didn't use the car park, so entered on foot with the security code for the gate and main door. The apartment was keyless, using that same code on the handle keypad. Our first-floor apartment faced the courtyard and had a little balcony to relax on. It was warm and came with all the Ikea conveniences: microwave, fitted cooker, coffee maker, dishwasher and tabs, utensils, crockery, plus a washing machine that we were thrilled to use. Wi-Fi was in the room too. A couple of żabka shops and a bakery are minutes away, so we bought food and cooked instead of taking the offered breakfast. The city centre was around a 10-minute walk away, a fantastic location. Outside there was a swing, mini trampoline, a chess grid on the ground, and hopscotch for little ones. It felt like home, and we'll definitely stay at Apartamenty Homely Place again. Can't wait to come back in summer!

We were there for two days, and on the second day someone went into the room and stole all our money. Management did nothing, didn't even hear us out or come to check. I asked them not to clean because I'd gone to the police, but they sent someone to clean anyway, to cover their crime. Then they told us to leave because they had another booking. Nobody came to help, and communicating by phone was a huge problem. They showed no support or solidarity. We lost all our money, and they did absolutely nothing. My worst experience ever. They stole all my money!
