I was able to find parking nearby, which was handy. Breakfast came with my stay and was a pleasant surprise: good ingredients, fresh bread, decent cold cuts, and especially tasty muesli. The breakfast area was warm and inviting too. The room was spacious, the bathroom well kept, and the hotel felt clean, comfortable, and cozy. It's in the heart of the city, in the Old Town, with everything easy to reach on foot. A very solid stay, and one I'd gladly recommend.

The building was surprisingly hard to spot. The signage is poor, just a small sign placed high above street level and the name etched into the glass front door. Reception is only a little desk in the entry hallway. Inside, though, the room was comfortable, and the bathroom looked very new and was clean. Breakfast was very good.

The room I had, number 12, stayed cool thanks to a lovely cross breeze, and I'd choose it again. The air conditioner was locked and couldn't be adjusted, but the room worked out well for me. There's loads of charm here, with beautiful old wood and fabulous tilt-and-turn windows. They open fully or just at the top, leaving the bottom closed in a V shape. My friend had a much smaller room with a large terrace and no cross breeze, and she was very warm. She wouldn't choose her room again. I'd recommend asking to change the AC temperature if your room is small and doesn't have windows on both sides.
