Hampton by Hilton Poznan Old Town

The reception team were always friendly, and breakfast was good with helpful staff. The hotel is centrally located, which was great, and the room was spacious, though the bed felt a bit hard for us. We had a pleasant stay overall. Getting there by car was a hassle. There's no EV charging station, and our car was too long to fit in the parking garage, so we left it in an unpaved lot outside. The Hilton app also didn't work, so online check-in wasn't possible. I spoke with three people in the app chat, but none could explain why our reservation wasn't showing. The bathroom sink leaked. The manager should check the room facilities more carefully, and perhaps they could consider adding a shower door.

The room smelled like sewage as soon as I walked in, and the windows couldn't be opened even a little. Adding hinges so they don't swing all the way open might help, but the air in the rooms really needs to be refreshed. There's also no coffee machine or other amenities in the room. The location is handy for the train station, buses, and trams, and it's close to the city center and other landmarks. Restaurants and coffee shops are all around, with a supermarket within walking distance. Breakfast was very good, and the service was good too.

We had a modern, clean, spacious room in a modern, clean, spacious hotel. The breakfast was amazing, with such a huge range of hot and cold food, plus a waffle machine, fresh pancakes, porridge, and honeycomb. The staff were really helpful and spoke excellent English. It's a great spot for the old town square, just a five-minute walk away, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. A top-class hotel.
