Mandala Hostel Apartments

I barely slept because of bed bugs in room number 1 on the first floor. When I opened the blanket and pillow covers, I saw blood stains and another strange stain. I had to see a doctor after I got home. The soundproofing is practically nonexistent, and someone in room 5 was talking on the phone at midnight and kept me awake. The hostel owner should consider putting up a quiet hours notice. There is wifi and hot water. The place is in an old building, on the first floor, in the old town center. Check-in went smoothly and the price was a good deal.

The staff were unreachable when I needed them, and the bed suddenly broke under me, leaving me hurt. The room was noisy and smelled so bad that even leaving the windows open for about 20 minutes didn’t clear it. It was also so dirty I didn’t dare take my shoes off. I’d strongly advise against staying here. The accommodation is squalid, there’s no hot water, and despite being listed as three star on booking.com, there are no towels.

The room was okay for the price, but the clubs and pubs underneath the hostel made the noise unbearable. I expected the night to be quiet, but it was loud all night, even at 6 a.m. I was exhausted and barely slept. I don’t recommend this place.
