Tey Hostel

Each floor has its own kitchen, and you can use it whenever you need. The rooms are nicely furnished with cute decorations, and the location is hard to beat, just 50m from the market square where the parties and attractions are. It’s a great spot for a weekend stay. The bathroom setup was the part I didn’t like. Girls and boys share the same bathroom, with toilets and showers all in one room, so someone could be right beside you while you shower, doing something you’d rather not know about.

Tey Hostel has a nice bar and restaurant, and it’s cheap while having the feel of a luxury hotel. It’s right in the beautiful centre of Poznan, with the tourist area on your doorstep. I love this hostel and recommend staying there if you visit Poznan.

I’m certain the bed bugs came from this hostel. I stayed there with a friend, and she’s dealing with them too, even though we don’t live together. At first I thought the bites were from the 100 mosquitoes in our room, since I’d never seen or experienced bed bugs before, but now I’m sure what they were. I wish I’d never taken that trip. Apparently bed bugs are a nightmare to get rid of. Don’t stay there, people!

The old cottage has a cosy feel, and the location is good. But the room wasn’t fully cleaned, the bed linen was dirty, and the view was of trash. That’s what you might get.
