The view was lovely, but the stay felt pretty basic. There was no hairdryer or bottled water in the room, and breakfast was very modest.

Breakfast was sparse: dry bread and instant coffee, though the scrambled eggs and some of the fruit were good. The room wasn't much better, with a low hard bed, a thick pillow, and worn carpet. We asked for separate beds, and the receptionist gave no clear welcome when we arrived. He seemed annoyed to be interrupted from watching a soap opera on his laptop. The reception itself was huge, with a two-story ceiling. This felt like the old communist Poland shown in movies, as if that era were still here.

The room was warm and clean, and the WiFi worked well. The furniture was quite old, the lighting wasn't great for anyone with poor vision, and there were no toiletries like shampoo or soap. We missed breakfast, but they brought it up to our room. A woman at reception also helped call a taxi. Good service overall.

The staff were really nice, and breakfast was surprisingly good, with Nescafe. The bed wasn't comfortable, the internet was very poor, and the hotel badly needs updating. I stayed one night while waiting for a train to Ukraine. It's super basic, but works for a night on a low budget.

The staff were gracious and accommodating. The room itself was very basic, with a thin, firm mattress and no way to adjust the temperature. There weren't any nice touches, but for the price it wasn't terrible.
