Villa Gorczańska

The climb up to the hotel with a stroller in the heat was torture. If I'd realized how high up it was, I might have chosen somewhere else. I took a taxi every day. The balcony views made up for some of it, but getting there was hardcore. The barbecue area was there, but lacked the basics. I bought briquettes and kindling because the wood meant for burning was oiled, and the rest was in huge chunks with nothing to chop it with. After I called to ask, they brought barbecue equipment from another place, which we're really grateful for because it saved the day ;) We had a positive impression overall, but the garden, with its HUGE potential, seemed neglected. The beds were very comfortable, but the pillows were a nightmare, worn out, flat, and uncomfortable. The floors were very dirty when we arrived, and there were no cleaning products. For an apartment where someone stays a week and is bound to make a mess, there should at least be basic supplies in a common room. I would've happily cleaned the floor myself after a day, let alone the toilet. This is a real bummer and needs improving!

We found delicious food and extremely friendly, helpful owners and staff. The well-maintained guesthouse and rooms are set in a lovely, quiet spot, with a cared-for, spacious garden and a picture-perfect mountain panorama. There are plenty of ways to relax outdoors: a secluded table, a pool to cool off in, loungers for sunbathing, a trampoline, and a small playground. For indoor fun, there's billiards, table football, and a reading room. Bikes are available to rent, too. Despite the rural setting, you're close to Rabka Spa Park and to hiking and cycling routes, including the approach to Turbacz Mountain.

The garden is a real plus, with a small playground, trampoline, barbecue spot, and a large pool, plus a playroom and billiards indoors. There's a grocery store nearby and the Maciejowa trail starts close by. The location is a little out of the way. Check-in is easy with the self-service key machine.

It's peaceful here, with mountain views and a countryside feel, even though the park is only about a 7-minute walk away. The garden is lovely and kept in great shape, with a playground, trampoline, summer pool, loungers, and places to barbecue or sit and relax. Rooms are light and clean, and breakfast is available. You can park behind a gate on-site or at a spot about 250 meters away.
