The location is great for walking to the old town, and the staff communicate well. Parking is free and private, in an unlocked area behind the house with no video surveillance. There's a lot of street traffic noise, so I’d ask for a quiet room when booking, probably on the other side of the house. The reception is next door to the right, inside a restaurant that closes at 19:00. Arriving later costs an extra 20 PLN, and card payments are accepted. The sheets seemed good quality and not especially old, but had some odd holes.

This didn’t feel like a proper hotel. It seemed more like an abandoned building, with no greeting or reception staff around when I came in. I rang the bell and got no answer. There are much better hotels in the city, closer to the main town square.

The service was friendly, though quite minimal, and the beds were comfortable enough. The room was clean in the bedding and bathroom, quiet enough for sleeping despite the busy street, as it faced the other side. The location is close to everything and the price was low to moderate. Still, the place seems to have declined from what must once have been an ambitious, great guesthouse. The carpet is stained and worn, and there’s a dusty smell. The attached restaurant has been closed since July.
