Willa Halina

I was in Sandomierz to search the general archive for family documents, having come all the way from Buenos Aires (Arg). It was my first visit to Poland, I didn’t know the city, and I don’t speak Polish, so staying near the center mattered to me. Willa Halina turned out to be far better than I’d expected. The staff were warm and helpful even with the language barrier, and the location was handy for everything downtown while still being quiet. I stayed in two rooms, one upstairs on the first floor and later one on the ground floor. Both were lovely, cozy, clean, and had everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious and very well organized. I’m especially grateful to the owner’s son for driving me to the bus for Warsaw. Muchas gracias!! I highly recommend staying here.

It’s a well-run place with an excellent breakfast. The town center and the Vistula are about an eight-minute walk away, though the route is hilly.

You feel right at home here. The staff notice even the little things, and the breakfast is phenomenal. My room was spacious and very clean, with a large bathroom and a comfortable bed. This is the kind of service reputable hotels could learn from. I’ll definitely come back.

We had a balcony room facing the garden, and the breakfasts were delicious. The staff were really friendly, too. It’s a little tucked away, but still very close to the center. The place was spotless, the bed comfortable, and there’s a shared kitchen with a refrigerator. I’d highly recommend this unique villa.
