Dworek Sanocki

I'm spending a week in Sanok on a workcation, taking a break from living in Krakow and exploring Poland's smaller towns. This place has been a delight. The staff were patient with my struggling Polish, and happy to speak English too, which I appreciated. The beer, food and service have all been good. Nothing to complain about, and I look forward to coming back.

The bill was very reasonable, and we especially enjoyed the golabki with mushroom sauce. There was enough parking around the building, and inside it felt warm, with lots of older details. The staff were friendly and the food didn't take too long to arrive. It's our favorite place in the Sanok neighborhood at the moment.

We went with friends and were told by someone on the service staff that the premises close at 9 pm, so we had to leave before finishing our drinks. The place itself is nice and not too busy, but that was really disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it.

There were five of us, but the dishes came out one at a time, so the first person served had cold food by the time everyone else got theirs. The meal itself was awful too. My soup was bland and the ribs were dry. Poor service all around, and I wouldn't go back.
