BAKO Apartments

The rooms were cramped and uncomfortable, and there wasn’t even space for a kitchen. Basic amenities were missing. The bathroom/toilet had no hot water or ventilation, and that was one of the rooms with several beds. The description hides serious problems. A damaged automatic gate nearly scratched our car. These conditions ruin people’s holidays, and a tourist service like this shouldn’t be allowed to operate. Better to pay a little more and stay somewhere else. I don’t recommend it.

The bathroom and kitchen in the apartment were nice, and it’s fine if you just need somewhere to sleep for a night. Nothing special, though. There’s lots of street traffic noise during the day and at night. There’s no DVB T2 decoder, and the Tassimili Express didn’t work, or maybe the capsules were old.

The decor is modern, and the apartment seems to have been renovated fairly recently. The main thing that needs attention is cleanliness. In our unit, at least, it hadn’t been thoroughly spot cleaned. That could be fixed, though. I’d still recommend it.

There’s ample parking and shops nearby. The place is well equipped, with a washing machine, iron, pots and pans, and other useful things. It also works well as a base for Krakow or trips to the mountains.
