Hotel Holidays

I hate leaving bad reviews and feel sorry for the owners, but people should know what the superior room was like. This was the cheapest place we found, and we paid extra to upgrade for more comfort, but didn't really get it. The free parking felt chaotic, like everyone just left their car wherever. If you're protective of your car, it's not reassuring. The soundproofing was poor too. You could clearly hear a quiet conversation two rooms away, as well as TVs in other rooms. Big copper pipes carry water through the room. Whenever someone uses water, the noise comes straight through, and it goes on all night. When the pipes expand, there are loud bangs that woke us up. One pipe carries hot water and heats the room no matter how we set the radiator. The carpet didn't look clean, and there were no power outlets except by the TV and in the bathroom. I expected one beside the bed for a lamp or charging phones, but there wasn't one. The bed was the softest we've ever tried, and our backs hurt throughout the stay. There were other odd things too, but I think this gives a fair idea of the “superior” room.

It's dirty and there are cockroaches running along the walls. I tried to stay optimistic when I arrived, but seeing one really disappointed me. The hotel feels creepy, like something from a horror movie. My friend was even crying.

The price wasn't high, but this was the worst hotel I've stayed in. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and even when it did, it felt no better than having none. Breakfast was very limited and poor, not worth the five euros. Noise came through from the hallway, neighboring rooms and even upstairs. I couldn't sleep through a night without being woken up. I stayed five nights and the room was never cleaned, not even once. The rooms need repairs too.

It's a truck-stop kind of hotel, cheap and cheerful, and the rooms were okay. The radiator made loud noises all night, and the smoke detector kept flashing. The night receptionist was very pretty, so that's my reason for giving five stars haha.
