Hotel Relax

I don't agree with the people calling it dirty and old. The rooms are nicely prepared and the bathrooms are clean. I didn't see any hairs in the bathroom or bugs in the rooms. It's a lovely place to stay when I come to Poland to visit my family, and I'd really recommend it.

A gas station nearby was perhaps my one concern, and the decor is a little old-fashioned. Otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel in the middle of town. The parking is enclosed, there's air conditioning, the bed is comfortable, breakfast is sufficient, and the owner is nice. Most shops and restaurants are an easy walk away, and so is the German border.

The location was really convenient, close to a market, gas station, coffee shops, bars and restaurants. There's also a small farmers market right beside the hotel selling fresh fruit and vegetables. My room was cozy with a big bathroom, and staff brought clean towels and fresh sheets each day. Breakfast was okay.

We won't be back, and I can't recommend this hotel. The meal was dry and overcooked, the servings were small, and the waitress seemed very unhappy, with no friendly welcome. That's a zero out of ten for the food. Our reception welcome was a six out of ten. The room had new decor, but the grey color scheme felt cold. It was heated because the weather was cold, but the bathroom had no ventilation. The massage shower was too small and weak, maybe two out of ten. The room was listed on booking.com at 160zl, then the currency conversion made it 180zl. The receptionist said the bank rate for the Euro was 4.40zl. I was annoyed, even though I understood the amount. Then the manager came out to argue. I didn't want a scene, so I left promptly. If you want an unfriendly, cheap, casual hotel with excellent enclosed private parking for your car, this might suit you.
