NORDBYHUS Apartamenty Chmielna Park

The location was good, within walking distance of the old town and tourist attractions. But I booked a two-bedroom apartment and was given a one-bedroom place, which was frustrating for four of us while traveling. I had to email and ask before I received the check-in instructions. There was a washing machine but no detergent, and no air conditioning.

I stayed four nights at Chmielna Park. The apartment was clean, with modern furniture, and good value for a medium-length stay. It had a washing machine and dishwasher, plus broadband with downloads up to 150 Mbps. Choose the 5 GHz option for faster speeds. The neighborhood was quiet, with small cafes and an off-licence nearby. Getting around took a little time: waterfront restaurants were a 10-minute walk, attractions at least 20 minutes, and Glowny station about 30 minutes on foot. Taxis are cheap, though traffic in the city centre can be bad. The TV had few international channels, most of which weren't available, and there was no clear body wash. Towels were medium-sized. Check-in was self-service with a keybox, and checkout was at 10 am. Payment was settled in person, and cards were accepted. It was a pleasant stay.

The apartment felt like home, and it was stylish and roomy enough for five people. We rented it for five days and left very happy with what we got. Staff were pleasant and helpful, answering questions quickly and clearly. We checked in a bit late and weren't met by staff, but the instructions, with pictures, were easy to follow. If I had to pick something, the pillows were a little hard and there was a strange stain on the curtains. Tiny issues for me. I'd definitely come back.

Jakub was really helpful with the apartment and all my questions. It was clean, modern, and right by the old town. Renting one of their places was a great experience, and I'd recommend the service to anyone traveling to Gdansk.
