For a budget hostel, the room was exceptionally nice. We stayed with family for four days and had a very enjoyable time. The shared bathroom was a concern at first, and I think the comfort would probably wear down with each additional day, especially with small children and no private bathroom. We arrived during peak season and booked the day before leaving, when we had almost no choice, and the reviews had made me a bit nervous. The receptionist who greeted us was amazing and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. The next day, she was helpful but less proactive. I’m satisfied with the service and especially pleased by her initiative. I’d recommend it for a short weekend, or even a longer stay if a shared bathroom doesn’t bother you.

The rooms were clean and had everything needed, and there was always hot water for showers. The service was friendly, with a kitchen available and complimentary coffee and tea. But for the standard, it was expensive: 80 PLN for a single room without a bathroom. The room and bathroom were cold, and one of the bathrooms didn’t even have a heater.

I’ve traveled all over Poland, and usually you can find decent conditions for a third less, sometimes even really great rooms for around 50 złoty. This place had filth, a stench, and a general sense of neglect. I’ve never seen such a mess at this price, and it was disgusting to touch anything. I never usually comment, but I couldn’t let this go. It’s the first time in three years I’ve come across anything like it.
