ANNA K.
We were a group of more than 40, and the food was just as bad as the rooms. Breakfast was meant to be a buffet for half the group: cold cuts, a little cheese, and a thick sausage, though at least there was plenty of bread and ketchup. Dinner was badly seasoned and inedible. The owner was polite, and the location is good, but those were the only positives. The building, rooms, and bathrooms were in terrible shape, like something from the 1970s, with no renovations or replacements since. The windows were old and some handles were missing. Hot water came only at unspecified times, if you got lucky. The shower would sometimes stop, then spray yellow filth. The sink was cracked, the shower tray leaked, the grout was black, and the toilet cistern didn't flush fully. Room cupboards barely worked, the carpets were awful, the parquet was worn, and the beds were rickety, with floorboards digging into your back. A complete disaster. I didn't think places with standards this abysmal still existed.
