The breakfast was good and had plenty of variety, but the hotel is old, rather unclean, and on a noisy street. You can hear everything from the neighboring rooms. The restaurant only opens "on request." I wouldn't recommend accepting the extras the owner offers, even if they seem friendly, because the prices aren't agreed on beforehand and could leave you unpleasantly surprised.

I'm back again, and while this may not be the fanciest place, it feels homey and pleasant. The restaurant is amazing, with delicious food. I'm vegetarian and have never left hungry or disappointed, and there are plenty of tasty choices for meat eaters too. The service is great, the rooms are clean and pleasant, and each has a private bathroom. There's also a large terrace you can reach from the room, so smokers are welcome too. A great stop for tired travelers, with prices for every budget.

The local menu had no prices, so paying was a surprise, and I didn't think it was worth the money. The hotel was 30 years old. The bathroom stall barely shut, everything was falling apart, and the sink faucet flooded half the bathroom. The TV didn't work.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke, and the bathroom towels were old and worn through, with holes in them. Even after a very cold night, the heating wasn't working. I'm not someone who gets cold easily, but I had to sleep under two duvets.
