Aqua House

The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, though our room only had a fan and no air conditioning. It’s a compact hotel in a great spot, with the beach within walking distance and an amusement park nearby to explore.

The restaurant staff were the stars of our stay. They were so nice, quick, and polite, and the food and drinks were delicious, especially on Saturdays. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the restaurant team were always happy to help with a smile. The reception staff were lovely and helpful as well. We’ll definitely come back, and it’s a very nice place for a family holiday. The location worked perfectly for us because the beach nearby is remote and not crowded. Just keep in mind the hotel is up a hill, with about 120 steps down to the beach, which could be difficult for anyone with limited mobility. The place was clean and neat. The rooms are quite basic, but at this price I can’t complain. There’s no elevator, though the floors aren’t high, so it wasn’t a problem for us. The bathroom was clean, modern, and nice, and the white linens and towels were fresh. The cleaning service was 10/10, efficient, fast, and polite. Every room has tea and coffee facilities. We asked for an iron and ironing board, and they brought them to our room. There’s no air conditioning, but rooms have fans. Air conditioning is available in the Junior Suite, since the windows there don’t open all the way. There’s also a vending machine with drinks and snacks at reception, plus bike rental with very nice bikes at a good price.

The location was fine, with the beach, shops, restaurants, and railway nearby. But for the high price, I expected better service. Our apartment was spacious enough, yet there were no chairs, so when someone was sleeping in the bed, there was nowhere to sit. Room cleaning was almost nonexistent, judging by all the dust and debris that built up.

The meals were delicious, the room was clean, and the staff were nice. It’s dog-friendly, and parking is available. Aguapark is right next door. There’s no elevator, which is a small drawback, but manageable. Towels, shampoo, and shower gel were provided, though I missed having soap. I’d recommend it.
