For me, the basics matter when I stay somewhere: is it clean and comfortable? Here, both answers are YES. It's a nice guest house with good amenities, and Izabela at the front desk is the kindest and most helpful. Ask for her. Breakfast is good too, with limited variety, and the coffee especially stood out.

I haven't stayed at the B&B, but I did eat at the restaurant. The warm, cozy decor and very friendly staff impressed me, though the food was mediocre at best. We ordered Pierogis thinking they were a safe bet, but they were really doughy. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.

The baked apple with honey and almonds was super tasty. I'd recommend SOPLICA PIGWOWA or GŁOGOWA, a delicate Polish vodka that's not strong. The place has a fantastic traditional Polish interior connected to history, and no plastic chairs or tables.
