Villa Rosa Apartment - Happy Hours

It was a nice, spacious apartment on a quiet street, very close to the beach. But the price felt too high for the quality, there was no hairdryer, and water ran from the bathroom into the rooms. After every shower, even a quick one, we had to mop around the apartment to protect the beautiful parquet floor. That's not what a vacation should be about ;)

Anxiety at every turn instead of a chance to relax. I don't recommend this property because of the owner's arrogance and attitude. When my husband called about compensation, the owner told Booking.com that we hadn't even arrived, which meant I couldn't leave a review. We came in November, with me heavily pregnant and our two-year-old with us, and the room was only 15 degrees Celsius. The owner brought one heater, but after a few hours it barely got up to 17 degrees Celsius. My husband and I are still sick after that night, and the bathroom stayed very cold for the rest of our stay. The kitchen was terribly dirty. A white cloth I used to wipe the cutlery drawer came away grey (photo below). There were food remnants in the oven, dirty pans in the cupboards, and piles of garbage, including broken pots, tools, and accessories. I don't know whether the owner expects guests to clean it all up and throw out things that shouldn't be in the kitchen cupboards. The refrigerator was at 17.5 degrees Celsius, so I had to throw out all the food before I realized what was wrong. Appliances can break at any time, but guests had already reported on the booking website a month earlier that the fridge wasn't working. The owner knew and did nothing about it. When I mentioned that the TV only had TVP Info and Polonia 1, the owner's answer was that he didn't offer anything. Cable TV. The bed was falling apart, the shower head was broken, the dishwasher sometimes cleaned and sometimes didn't, the blender stopped working after I loaded it with fruit, and the coffee maker was the cheapest one on the market. I could go on. We also heard, and I quote: "When booking accommodation with a discount service (implicitly, Booking), we get discount terms." Maybe this place shouldn't have "APARTMENT" in its name. In my opinion, the name is binding, and its price is on par with competitors that really have a high standard. I'm giving it a low rating to draw attention to all these problems.

The location was phenomenal, and everything was clean and ready when we arrived. I booked through Dom & Hause, and the apartment matched its description. The heating worked fine, but I was there with a 1.5-year-old in November, and the bathroom could have been in better shape. A radiator would've been nice on the cool evenings. Also, check which parking space belongs to the apartment, since the neighbor is apparently not very nice. I recommend it.

Musty smell and dust everywhere. I'm disappointed by how dirty the apartment was. It needs renovation, a proper deep clean, and new appliances. I don't recommend it!
