Willa Deco

Avoid this place! This isn’t a 4 star villa, it’s a self service apartment with no cleaning, no fresh towels, and no concierge or reception, despite what the website says. On our first night, we found out our key card could open every apartment. We realized this after accidentally swapping cards with family staying in another flat. The card issue was never properly fixed. Later our card stopped working, and we couldn’t get into the hotel. With no concierge, we had to wait and hope another guest happened to be coming or going. The first time, we waited 1.5 hours for three different staff members, each of whom claimed to be everyone’s boss, to deal with the problem. It ruined our family holiday and my anniversary dinner. On two occasions around dinner time, we were left waiting while they dealt with the door and keys, losing valuable time with family. One young woman who said she was the manager promised compensation, then never came back. Nobody answered our messages. We couldn’t get help or an apology. It felt like an absolute scam. We also weren’t allowed to speak to upper management. We asked several times, but the different children dealing with us said they were too busy. There’s nowhere to leave luggage for a few hours after checkout, which should be basic for a hotel. The room had plenty of other problems too. The air conditioning on the top floor barely cools, the shower leaks across the whole bathroom, and the bed is extremely uncomfortable and uneven. There was so much dust that my allergies kicked in. What a waste of a lovely holiday.

The beds are comfortable to sleep in, and the apartment has what you need, but it could use some renovation. The bathroom wasn’t very comfortable, and the kitchen needs some new gadgets.

A great location, a really comfy bed, and it was quiet. I’d happily come back. Highly recommend!

Paulina & Willa Deco team, We were happy with our stay at Willa Deco from May 1-3rd, 2022, and had been ready to leave a very positive review on Booking/Google. We hadn’t asked for a late checkout, but you kindly offered to let us stay later on May 3rd, and we accepted. On Tuesday morning, May 3rd, a cleaning lady knocked and asked when we planned to leave. We answered in Polish that we’d go at 6 pm, and she said that was fine. We left our bags and food in the apartment while we went out to enjoy the city. When we got back around 3 pm, someone had been in the apartment. The bedding had been removed and about half our food was gone. You could say the cleaning lady misunderstood and thought we’d checked out and left trash. But the bin was still full, and the opened food was left on the table. The food taken was the unopened, packed food: two beers, cookies that had been on the table, and Żabka sandwiches from the fridge. So she had checked the fridge too. I can’t make sense of that. It was theft, and we were shocked. This isn’t about the cost, it’s about trust and attitude. We tried calling the Willa Deco contact number yesterday, but nobody picked up. You replied to two or three SMS with very general messages, then stopped responding. You didn’t help resolve the issue, contact us to discuss it, or offer an apology. We’re very disappointed with our stay at Willa Deco and with the employees you have.
