Art Hotel's Sosnowiec

I'm a frequent guest and plan to keep coming back. The rooms are big enough and have what you need, and the hotel is clean with a good breakfast. The staff are especially nice and competent. I definitely recommend it, and give the personnel big compliments, you clearly make a difference.

The hotel photos of the interiors are accurate, but in my opinion this place isn't suitable for business travelers. My room faced the sun all day, reached 33 C °, and had no air conditioning. I slept only two hours. I had to leave the windows open, but a refrigerated truck parked below had a compressor starting every five minutes, so sleep was impossible. The reception staff, in my view, weren't suited to the job. They showed no real interest in their work or the client, seemed interested only in the customer's money, and lacked the basic courtesy I'd expect from a hotel. Even at reception during the war in Serbia, there were people with a smile. The area is isolated, outside the center, with no restaurants, pubs, or anything useful nearby. I went out on foot in the evening to find somewhere to eat, with only one Indian restaurant as a choice, and felt afraid walking back because it's not a nice area. You'd have to eat somewhere else in town before coming back. Maybe this hotel isn't aimed at tourists or business travelers, but when you're booking for work on your phone, this can happen.

The hotel is clean and modern, though you get to it through an alley lined with garages.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Staff were friendly.
