We booked for two adults and a child, expecting two single beds as the booking said, but were given one small double. We couldn't all fit, so we had to use the inflatable mattress from the car and slept badly. The room itself was unnecessarily large, a waste of space, but poorly insulated against summer heat, especially with no fan. It was 29 degrees Celsius when we checked out, and then we noticed the reception had its own fan. They should think about their guests, not just themselves. There was no fan or air conditioning in the room, which seems typical of budget hotels across Poland, but I think that deserves one star. Honestly, we might have slept as well or better in our car, where we have a fan and air conditioning, especially since there are plenty of free parking spaces on nearby tree-lined streets. Parking ended up being free, but I'd rather have had a fan in the room and paid for parking.

There’s no lift, so getting to an upper floor is a real struggle. The rooms also have no proper heating, just what seemed like imitations of a heating system, and there were no PACOs provided. The bathrooms are tiny, and the towels are only face-towel size. At times the reception staff couldn’t say a single word in English. If you’re plus-size, don’t bother booking here.

I left by taxi at 7.30am after a night without sleep. The polyester duvet made me feel like I needed a shower, and even covering the pillows with two towels didn’t stop their dirty-hair smell. The room itself was clean, but the pillows seemed as if they hadn’t been cleaned or changed for a long time. For that price, the conditions just weren’t good.

The breakfast was very cheap, but still not worth what they charge. The rooms were also missing basics like soap, fresh bottled water, and teaspoons.
