The location by the reservoir is great, and the rooms are generally clean, but the service is almost nonexistent. The walls are thin and noisy, and the furnishings are worn. The bathroom is separate, with glass walls and curtains that look badly worn and torn up, as if cats had been at them. The glass is cracked, the doors don't shut properly and need someone else to help close them, and the setup makes it hard to use. There's a kettle, but the sink is so tiny that you have to fill it in the shower. The mattresses are really uncomfortable, and the bedding feels like something from 20 years ago. There's a kitchenette, but the boards are broken, the dishes don't match, and the pans are worn out. It wouldn't take much to make this place great. There's potential, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I was very disappointed. I chose this hotel because I booked a spacious room with a bathtub, but on arrival they put me in a small room with a shower, nothing like what was advertised. When I told the owner what I'd reserved, the only answer was, "This room is occupied." That felt unprofessional. If they couldn't provide the booked room, they should have told me ahead of time or offered reasonable compensation. The lack of honesty and the disrespectful treatment make it impossible for me to recommend the place.

Our first wait was at check-in: Booking.com told me to call the owner when we arrived, and then we stood around for a good 15 minutes before anyone showed up. The room had steps you had to watch out for. In the bathroom, the windows were whitewashed glass, the door had no lock, and there was only a centimeter of clearance, so privacy was poor. There were no towel hooks, so we hung towels from the shower curtain rail, which was covered in mold and rust. The shower had nowhere for shampoo except the floor, and the rusty handle was broken, leaving the shower head in our hand. The lighting was harsh, though it made the dead spider on the ceiling easy to see. The desk looked badly battered, like someone had shot it. For the price and the reservoir nearby, I came away with a mostly positive impression. There was parking and a shared kitchen, but I still have reservations about the room and service.
