Tawerna Panorama

The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a pleasant terrace, which is why I gave it a star. We don't know much Polish, so we tried ordering three portions of Pierogi in English, hoping the staff would understand. We got only two, and they didn't seem fresh or taste very good. There was a little fried onion from a plastic bucket and some frying oil, which tasted off. Maybe it gets reused a lot, but I could still feel it hours later. The kitchen and service are their issue. The partly self-service setup was fine for us, including picking up the food when the beeper went off.

The price felt much too high compared with other places, so I can't give it four stars. The food itself was okay, nothing wrong with it, just nothing special.

Make the detour and give yourself half a day to try this place. The fish dishes and soup are spectacular, and leave room for dessert. Don't miss the `torcik bezowy`, one of the best sweet desserts I've had.

The fish dumplings are worth trying, and breakfast comes with home-baked bread. The food is very good, and the place itself is cozy and quiet, with really friendly staff. A perfect stay, highly recommended!
