The staff and atmosphere were wonderful, and the food was delicious, varied, and baked on site. We could choose our meal times, which was no problem. Every meal came with something sweet, like cheesecake, apple fritters, poppy seed rolls, or rice with apples. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet, but it was varied, with scrambled eggs, warm sausages, and salads. Coffee was available all day. Everything is on one level, which matters for people with mobility issues. The rooms are small, but the beds are very comfortable. There’s a TV, kettle, cups for making coffee, towels, and soap. The room was clean. For us, the only thing that could be improved was having a lower shower cubicle without a seat, though I don’t know whether the other rooms have one. At the back there’s a shelter with benches and a barbecue grill. I didn’t think there was anything left to surprise me, but the whole staff deserves a 10+. We’ll come back.

We were the last guests at this guesthouse, leaving on September 14 at 7:00 a.m. on the manager’s advice. We’re grateful for that, since we got home safely. The place was wonderful, and we hope it recovers quickly. Mr. Manager, wishing you good health and perseverance.

I came back with a group for another trip, and the staff were friendly as ever. The rooms were warm, the water hot, and the food delicious. Breakfast had plenty of variety, though it wasn’t a buffet: scrambled eggs, warm sausages, and salads. If anything was missing, they asked and brought it over. The room had a kettle, cups, spoons, towels, and liquid soap. The location is great too. You can barbecue while listening to the river.

We had a great stay for a good price. The rooms were clean and fine for a holiday, and the home-cooked food was really good and varied. Dinner came with a sweet treat each day. Breakfast had cereal and a hot option, plus espresso, and there was plenty of everything. The property is by the river on the main street, with a swimming pool next to the resort. Shops and local restaurants are nearby. I highly recommend it 👍
