Fresco Hostel is fine, though nothing special. Its location is by far the biggest plus. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms all have separate narrow beds, which is a downside. It’s a good place to stop on the way to or from Lithuania, or to use as a base for trips around the Podlasie region.

Honestly, I ate the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had here. I can’t read Polish, so I don’t know exactly what it was, but it was two sausages, and they were awful. After I left, I had to get something else to get rid of the taste in my mouth. I may have nightmares about it. 😢

The prices are fair, but the food was just average. I’d pick somewhere else for dinner with my family next time.

The room was nice and cozy, but the soundproofing was really poor. We could hear music from the pizzeria downstairs.

Pork on pizza is good, but add fries too and it’s even better!
