Great spot, really clean, and there's reception service. The price is pretty steep, but fair for what you get :)
The place is actually quite nice, but anyone with a pet allergy should avoid it. My eyes stayed itchy and swollen for four days.
The biggest problem was the reception. With a price of over 6,000 for a week, I expected a level of service closer to what the Rubus apartment building seems to aim for. The young woman at the desk, with staged eyelashes, couldn't understand what I was asking even though I'm Polish, then reacted to my problem with loud snorting, cackling, and mockery. It was incredibly unpleasant, almost arrogant. The apartment itself is functional and looks nice, but it has no wardrobe. The furnishings feel cheap and are mostly plastic. From the balcony, the view is of neglected patio plants. The price also seems too high. For that amount, I'd rather go abroad, where the weather is guaranteed, something you can't count on in Świnoujście in summer. Never again.
From the roof, there's a lovely view over the Baltic Sea. The rooms were spotless and well equipped, and the hotel staff were very friendly. It's a beautiful hotel complex.
The beach is right behind the property, an ideal setup for families with small children and lots of gear. It takes no more than five minutes to get there. The promenade is about a five-minute walk away. The place is very child- and pet-friendly, though pets come with an extra fee. Cleanliness is clearly a priority throughout. We stayed in the Rubus building for 10 nights, three people in a room with a sofa bed and two single beds pushed together. Rubus also has the breakfast room and the hotel's restaurant, "Sofa." The apartment hotel has two main buildings, Abus and Rubus. Our room had a kitchenette with a refrigerator, dishes for 3-4 people, and a two-burner induction cooktop. Wi-Fi was stable, including for the TV. Breakfast had plenty of variety, including a good range of rolls, freshly baked from frozen, and different breads. The staff were very friendly and knew their work. The hotel's restaurant is also highly recommended. The portions are generous, the menu has plenty of choice, the food is tasty, and prices are typical for the area. Parking around the building costs about €24 per day. I'd strongly recommend paying for it, since there are no free spaces nearby. Avoid trying unusual parking schemes unless you want a wheel clamp from the city police 😉. The reception is in Abus and awkward to reach by car. On arrival, you have to stop in front of a barrier gate, and it's a mystery what the builders had in mind. Room service each day costs extra. Otherwise, it happened automatically halfway through our stay, with basic cleaning and fresh bed linen and towels. The information folder only mentions paid extra cleaning, so it could make the automatic service clearer. We didn't use the pool or sauna. It's a small bathing area, not really suited to lap swimming, and the extra charge for the facilities feels misplaced. Ideally, it would be part of the basic price. The hotel is well worth recommending. I took off a star for the spa fee, the awkward car access to reception, and the unclear cleaning information.
