The staff were nice, and the hotel sits right on the promenade. Our room was cleaned every day, and breakfast offered a varied choice of dishes. There’s also a pool, on the small side but good enough for relaxing. A clothes dryer in the room would’ve been useful, and the wifi was very poor. You need cash to pay the tourist tax. Parking is available, though it’s better to arrange a spot in advance.

We spent 4 nights here as four adults, two parents and their two adult children. The room was quite large, with one double bed and a sleeping sofa, and the beds were big enough. It was clean and came with a kettle, coffee, tea, and a small fridge. The hotel is on the quieter part of the promenade, so the area around it was calm. Breakfast changed each day, with a generous spread of vegetables, salads, cheese, ham, eggs, and something sweet like donuts, cakes, or pancakes to have with coffee. With two dining rooms, it was easy to find a clean, free table. Coffee and juice were better downstairs. We arrived late for breakfast one day but all the food was still available. The pool isn’t big, but you can swim in place for a long time against the current, and there are massage streams too. When we went twice, at 11 am, it was nearly empty. The water was clear and mildly warm. The steam sauna is open from 17-21:00, but we didn’t try it, and the Finnish sauna was out of order. Staff were friendly, though some spoke only Polish and German, not English. The location is excellent for getting to the promenade, beach, shops, and restaurants. The Baltic aquapark is also within walking distance, as is everything else we wanted to visit. Hotel parking is limited and costs 80pln per day. We booked a spot in advance at the lot across the road, 30m from the hotel, for 4 days at 100pln per day. The promenade has two routes. One is lively, with music, artists, shops, food, drinks, and souvenirs. The other, closer to the beach, is quieter and has separate lanes for cycling, roller skating, and walking, plus children's playgrounds. There are misting showers along it to cool off on hot days. The beach was nice, although there was a lot of seaweed in the water when we visited. It wasn’t cold, and I can imagine swimming there, but we’re used to clearer beach water. We booked a hotel with a pool near the aquapark because we thought the sea might be too cold, rough, or full of seaweed. That turned out to be a very good choice.

The beach is close enough for an easy stroll, and I spent most of my stay relaxing in the pool and sauna. Breakfast was good too. I went to Afrodyta Spa for a few days and came back feeling like I'd had the easy break I needed. I'd return.

Billiards meant paying cash, so I had to find an ATM, and they wouldn't give me a receipt. The food wasn't great, and neither was the coffee, which was only available at breakfast. On our first evening, dinner was charged at 70 PLN per person even though the programme and price list showed 65. I had to explain that this was against the law before I got my money back. Older guests were also charged a different price from the one listed.
