Baltic Apartments-Willa Carmen 13

It was cold, and after we'd been there for two days, the toilet started smelling strongly of urine. Apparently there was a leak in the pipes.

The balcony view and seaside location were lovely, and the apartment had everything we needed. It was also good value, close to the promenade and sea. But the photos made it look better maintained than it was, and it wasn't properly clean. The room was spacious, though the bathroom was small and sometimes smelled of pipes. The bigger issue for us was how far it was from town and shops. Nearby small stores didn't have everything, and since we couldn't drive then, getting what we needed became a major hassle and wasted time.

We stayed in apartment no. 10. The Wi-Fi technically worked, but barely, so I ended up using mobile data. The apartment otherwise looked like the pictures. There was a persistent bad smell throughout, and air fresheners did nothing. Even the bedding smelled.

For the price, this was a good deal, and town was only a five-minute walk away. We stayed in Apartment No. 3 from Vacation-Club. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable, and there was a separate sleeping area. With two sofas in the living room, it really could fit four people. The bathroom was modern and had a big shower, though it was very cold. I took off a star because there was no sign for the apartment, parking cost around €10 extra per day, and the floor was very noisy.
