Breakfast was tasty, and the staff were lovely. Most of them speak English or German. We stayed in a huge family room on the top floor, and it was very clean. The hotel has a quaint feel and is close to the beach. The walls seemed a little thin, though it was quiet at night, and we were out most of the day anyway. The WiFi kept cutting out, which was an issue when we needed to do some work. Lighting was also limited. It looked as if ceiling fixtures had been removed, perhaps for repairs or updates, which is fair enough since we visited in the off-season.

We stayed one night, and that was enough for us. The beds weren’t great, though they’d probably be fine for a night or maybe two. Everything felt very old, and the bathroom really needs updating. I didn’t want to shower there, which was a shame. On the plus side, it was in a quiet spot and there were enough parking spaces. I can’t comment on the service because I didn’t see anyone. Our room keys were left on the counter with a note bearing our name.

We were out and about all day, so the hotel suited us well. It’s clean and tidy, and I’d recommend it. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of tasty choices. It isn’t luxurious, but if you bring bikes, you can store them for free in the shed. There’s also car parking, and the gate is locked in the evening.

The kitchen staff were very friendly, and breakfast was really nice. For the price, the value was okay. Sleeping there was fine since we were away most of the time, but some of the furniture looked worn and dated. The toilet brush should be replaced. Our trash wasn’t emptied at all during the four days, because of COVID.
