Room 6 was the one drawback for us: the mattresses were hard foam couches without springs, and the wardrobe had only a rail, with no shelves or drawers, so we kept our things in a bag. It was manageable, though. The children’s room, number 7, had softer beds and a wardrobe with shelves plus a chest of drawers. There are lots of thoughtful touches elsewhere, like a fridge in every room, a shower shelf for gel, an absorbent mat by the shower, and liquid soap at the sink. There’s also a small garden playground with a trampoline. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the price was affordable. The location was excellent, especially once we left and saw how close several beautiful trails were, including the less discovered Jarmuta and Gabańka peaks. As a side note, I recommend hiking Jarmuta. The entrance is from Klimontowska Pass, and there’s a lovely view of the Sądecki Beskids from the clearing below the summit.

The owner was very nice and helpful, and communication was excellent. The place is a one kilometer walk from the center, and the dining room is open for general guest use and very well equipped. There’s a children’s playground, and our clean, well-kept room had a TV and a refrigerator in the bathroom. Everything was in order. We know where we’ll stay when we’re back in Szczawnica. I recommend it.

We keep coming back because this cozy, warm house feels like home every time. Most of all, it’s the warm, honest, wonderful hosts who make us love returning ❤️ We’ll probably be back again. I recommend it.

There were hairs on the floor and blankets in our room, and the shower was tiny, with very weak pressure from the shower head. We had to wait about three minutes for hot water. The bed was low and the duvet a bit small for two, while the radiators were cold after 10 p.m. Leaving the property was also difficult because the bend limited visibility. When we arrived, the owner seemed displeased and surprised to see us, even though we had booked through Booking.
