The room's decor was rather lavish, but the place itself was dirty, noisy and cramped. There was no hot water in what could barely be called a shower. Cars were parked right under the windows, since the owner also runs the parking lot. The owners came across as arrogant and unwilling to help. TV was limited to government channels. There was supposedly Wi-Fi, but it didn't work, and internet access seemed blocked. Don't be fooled by the descriptions like we were.

The staff were nice, though I found them too intrusive during my stay. The location is perfect, but that was the only positive for me. The price was too high for the conditions: my room was dirty and cramped, and the windows and room in general weren't airtight, so I could hear everything around me. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and we highly recommend them. It's an ideal location if you're looking for somewhere in central Szczawnica, with a bus stop and the trail to Palenica nearby, among other things. Sylwia and Łukasz

The bathroom door wouldn't close properly, and the cleanliness was below standard. There was no hot water. Wallpaper was stuck onto battens, with tacky pictures on the walls, and the building still felt like it belonged to the communist era. You could hear vehicles and dance parties from the room. The TV channels were exclusively PiS public television. I wouldn't recommend it at this price.
