Kwiatowa6 Apartamenty Szczawnica

We stayed in the White Apartment again. It’s a good base for exploring the area, in a quiet neighborhood and close to the center, the Dunajec River, and a shop. The room has what you need to prepare a meal, and communication with the manager was easy.

The mattress was dirty and the sheets were torn. The place felt very unclean, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Getting up the steep hill to the apartment is the one drawback. Once there, though, it's a renovated, clean and very nice place, right in the center of Szczawnica. There's parking in front of the building, plus a barbecue spot and gazebo for guests.

The separate kitchen and dining space was a real bonus, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The "Gray" apartment was roomy, warm, comfortable and clean, a nice place to relax after a busy day. We knew about the uphill approach beforehand, and the driveway was almost always cleared of snow. Still, with fresh snowfall, snow chains could come in handy. It's close to Palenica, the promenade over Grajcarek/Dunacja Gorge, and Lower Park. The owner and property manager were easy to reach. I'd recommend it 👍
