This restaurant was our worst experience in Poland in ten years. The food was boring and inedible, and we had to order it in advance when making the reservation. Service was just as poor. The waitress seemed unsure what to do, though she was very kind and made an effort. The wine was already opened when it reached the table, and we weren't offered a chance to taste it. Water was simply put down too. The cocktails looked and tasted like someone had just thrown things together. Both the beef filet and pork filet were served medium hot and had no taste. A waste of time and money. Dear owner, put some effort into your staff.

The place has a calm, charming feel, and you can tell it’s a small business where the staff genuinely care. Our room was generously sized and furnished with antiques. When a small problem came up, the kind staff sorted it out quickly. Breakfast was a highlight, and the little free dinner was just right on days we went out for lunch. Great value, and we’ll be back :)

We were happy with our stay. It’s a nice hotel for a four-star place, with a good location and pleasant service. Breakfast felt a little limited to me: eggs were available only if ordered, and they weren’t boiled. You can also hear a bit from other rooms, though that seems fairly normal in an old building.

The room was large, but so dark it felt like a nightmare after I’d been expecting a romantic hotel. It also smelled strongly, apparently from the bathroom or shower, and the noisy street made it impossible to sleep with the small window open. The curtains and bedsheet had holes. The lighting was like office neon, there was no wardrobe, no bathroom shelves or towel hooks, and no light by the bathroom mirror. There were much cheaper and nicer places to stay in this city.
