My grandfather’s favorite hotel in Szczecin was Park Hotel, so we held his funeral reception there in 2015, after he passed away. The staff and the premises were fine, and we tipped the staff to thank them for their service. I would have liked to stay there when visiting his grave to honor him, but I chose not to after what happened. During the planning meeting, I was offered a glass of water. At the funeral reception, the manager pulled me aside, demanded payment for it, and accused me of not paying on the earlier visit. I’m still angry about how cheap and unmannered that felt, even ten years later. We were grieving, and the reception was good business for the company. It seemed reasonable to me that the hotel could cover a glass of water in connection with the business we had planned and brought them. That behavior was totally unacceptable in those circumstances.

The staff are kind and helpful, and they leave guests in peace. It’s a great hotel for a short or longer stay, with a very good breakfast and kind pool attendants. And to everyone, this is what duck salad is supposed to look like ;) Thanks for a great experience.

The spa and sauna are a lovely way to get away from the city’s stress, and the service is unbeatable. The hotel is in very good condition and in a great location. My room was cozy, quiet, and pleasant, and I really liked the decoration. I’ll come back whenever I can. Thanks for everything, and see you next time.
