The location was handy, close to everything, and the place was clean. But it’s right in the city centre, so free parking isn't available. We left the car outside the zone, an 18-minute walk away. This was one of my worst Booking stays. Before even getting to the room, you're met with walls smeared by local youth. The room seems okay at first, but the problems pile up. The shower wouldn't drain, and home remedies didn't help. I thought about reporting it, but didn't want someone coming into my room while I was out. It's basically a large apartment split into rooms, with a kitchenette and bathroom. You can hear everything from the other rooms: showers, flushing toilets, even people blowing their noses. The guests seemed to know this and we all tried to keep the noise down. The bathroom moisture also doesn't clear quickly, even with the windows wide open in hot weather. The towels were dark navy blue instead of the usual white, so it was hard to tell if they were clean. The previous guests had left the freezer door open. We found out in the morning while making breakfast, after the cottage cheese had frozen solid and was no good to eat, even later. At least Żabka is across the street, but who wants to rush there first thing on vacation? Worst of all was the bed. The mattress was worn out and collapsed under us, even though we have normal BMI. This clearly wasn't a recent problem; it should have been replaced at least a year ago. I've never slept so badly anywhere. A pillow would have been nice, too. And the noise outside the window kept waking us up. The window supposedly faces the backyard, so I expected it to be quiet. One morning the men taking out the garbage woke us early. Another day, someone, probably the caretaker, drove containers over the cobblestones and dumped what looked like large items. You can hear everything clearly on the first floor. It started at 5:15 AM and went on until 6:30 AM, just as I'd managed to doze off. On other days there were dog owners gossiping outside the windows, people walking past talking loudly on their phones, and locals in the evenings. I'll put that down to city life.

The apartment is in a great spot, and the rooms are clean, pleasant, and have what you need. But the bed kept waking us up: the slats slipped out and it creaked loudly whenever we moved. There was also a constant bad smell, and we could hear everything from the bathroom next door. Not much chance to recharge like that.
I really liked this place, it was cozy, clean, and beautiful. The owner was easy to communicate with too. Highly recommend ❤️
The rooms were spacious and looked well cared for, and the location was good.
Stay away.
