Dream Apart - Na Szczycie

The kitchen is well-equipped and the TV is large, but that’s about the only good I can say. Apartment Na Szczycie 34I/1 has clearly worn over time, including the terrace and its furniture, despite the lovely, perfect-looking photos on Booking.com. There were plenty of negatives, especially the awful bathroom mess. It looked as if the place was being “cleaned” without anyone checking properly, and the dirt inside and outside the cabin was disgusting. We definitely won’t return.

We had a lovely view of the slope and mountains, and the area was quiet. A shop, inns, and restaurants are close by, with the nearest inn and Lewiatan store about a five-minute walk away. The bus stop is also around five minutes on foot. In snow, Skrzyczne takes about a 30-minute walk, or four stops on the free ski bus. Parking is below the apartment, and there’s ski storage at the back of the building. Inside, it was roomy, clean, and decorated in a warm mountain style with industrial touches. There’s lots of storage, fresh towels and linens, and the beds were very comfortable. The small fridge is enough, but you need to make sure it’s shut properly. The induction cooktop takes some patience. There were plates, pots, a frying pan, cups, wine glasses, cutlery, and a coffee machine. A dish drainer was the only thing missing, but that wasn’t a problem. The bathroom was very clean. There’s also a vacuum cleaner and mop bucket. The only other downside was a noticeable damp smell when opening the kitchenette cabinet under the sink.

The balcony view over Skrzyczne was beautiful, and the apartment was quiet. Five of us stayed at Szczytowa 3 and had plenty of space, with everything we needed. The kitchen was especially well-equipped: induction hob, oven, dishwasher, large fridge, and freezer. We had no complaints and really liked it. Parking can be a little short if you arrive with two cars, but otherwise everything was fantastic. Highly recommend it!

We were 10 people staying in the apartments on Kalinowa and Na Szycie Streets from December 30, 2021 to January 2, 2022. The rooms were clean, nicely equipped, and just like the photos. Staff communication was excellent throughout, and they sorted out any issues right away.
