The cafe downstairs serves a good breakfast, and its pastries are excellent. The double rooms look small at first, but they’re cozy, and the bathroom is fine too. It’s a handy base for Szczyrkowski or another destination, with the ski bus stopping right outside. It can be noisy, though, since it’s near the main road and the nearby church likes to remind you of the time. I recommend it.

The rooms were clean and the location is good, but we were missing glasses. If you’re visiting for a weekend, don’t pick a room with a window facing the church. The bells are very loud, and you’re sure to be woken at 6 a.m. and every hour after that.

In central Szczyrk, this place has rooms with kitchenettes and friendly hosts. It’s worth a visit.
