We were honestly disappointed with what we got for the price. The place looks nice in the photos, but inside the furniture, shower, and kitchen items were in very poor condition, and the shower didn’t work. For skiing, expect a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest slope on dirty, stony roads that can ruin nice ski boots. The resort’s infrastructure feels old and doesn’t work perfectly, despite being called one of the top ski resorts. The good restaurants are in the city center, about 10 minutes away by car. Parking is all private and costs extra, and the police check a lot, so it’s better to pay. Ski passes only cover you until 16:00, and if you want to ski a full day, you need another one from 18:00 to 21:00. In Bialka Tatrzańska, it’s all covered by one ski pass at half the price. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The apartment was ready for us as usual, but I wouldn’t have mentioned one detail if it weren’t for the cleaning crew: the towel was worn out with age 😦. The cleaners were rude, too. Check-out was at 11:00 AM, and we waited politely inside until before 12:00 PM, when they complained that we were still there. We were ready to go and left within two minutes. They muttered curses under their breath and so on.

Apartment no. 14 had a nice cozy feel, thanks to the open roof space with its visible truss and the lovely view from the window and balcony. It seems ideal for a couple, with all the basics, and there was a big choice of board games. A few things got in the way: laminated cards with rules, warnings, and even “oldies” were the most noticeable, the toilet seat was cracked, the shower tray sagged, and there were cobwebs in places. Sort out those few things and it’d be a really wonderful place. We recommend it.

This was our second stay, and we’ll definitely come back. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and nicely decorated, and being close to the slopes was a plus. The location and facilities on site are excellent too, especially the ski room, spa, and laundry.
