Apartamenty Sun & Snow Szklarska Perła

I haven't even arrived, and I already feel cheated out of a significant amount. I strongly advise against booking with this company. I reserved two days through booking.com for 804 PLN (154 PLN), including all taxes. But 174 PLN was charged to my account, which is 900 PLN. I contacted them by email asking for a receipt and got no reply. The only information I received was that the full reservation cost over 840 PLN, plus 19 PLN tax. I still haven't received payment confirmation or a receipt for this port, and my email requests have gone unanswered. I don't recommend the company.

A cozy apartment with everything supplied, and a superb view across Szrenica and the whole Karkonosze Mountains. Parking is in the neighboring building. It's a great base for seeing Szklarska Poręba and nearby places.

We were delighted with our June stay at the Jizera Perła. The apartment was clean, had a lovely mountain view, and was very well equipped. It met our expectations, and we've always found Sun and Snow's services worth using. Best wishes from Janina and Jan from Krakow.

The staff were practically useless and seemed not to care. We were left waiting for maintenance, then learned he would only come the next day. The office was closed, and the cleaner said she couldn't do anything. When the man did arrive in the morning, he only confirmed our suspicions that the apartment hadn't been cleaned properly. He removed the dusty lamp and pointed out the damage. We still had to stay in a dirty apartment, and then were told the owner wouldn't sue for chemical cleaning of the beds. We hope our deposit is returned. The problems started as soon as we checked in. There was a strange rotten-food smell, so we opened the windows, but then couldn't heat the apartment properly; the stove temperature was 43 degrees Celsius. The smell turned out to be the least of it. The bedroom lamp above the bed was covered with dust and insects, and there was more under the bed. A towel had been left behind the bed under the radiator. The apartment was in terrible shape compared with the photos, and things were ruined. The bed intended for the child was stained. I asked if we could change rooms because it was unclean and in awful condition. They said no because it was through Booking.com. I then asked if someone could fix it, since it seemed they hadn't had the time or inclination. A woman said she'd send a cleaner. We were offered access to the pool and spa as compensation, but it hardly felt like a spa, and the sauna and cold pool weren't impressive. The cleaner said she'd call someone to point out that the apartment was damaged, so we wouldn't get any of our deposit back. We waited an hour, hoping to leave and explore, but nobody came. If you stay here, you'll feel worse than cows in a barn, unfortunately.
