Hotel Krysztal Conference & Spa

We came back for a second stay, and our room was clean with a fridge, kettle, instant coffee, tea, water, wardrobes, and a big mirror. There’s a children’s play area, and the breakfast and dinner buffets have a great range, with plenty for big eaters. The food is really tasty. The hotel is well located, but it attracts a lot of family groups whose kids run around, shout, and make a mess late into the evening, and reception doesn’t seem to care. Our room, 110, was smaller than the one we’d booked before, despite the booking saying it would be the same size. It’s the first room as you enter the floor, so you hear everything. I’d suggest getting two key cards and leaving one in the room to keep the air conditioning on. We’d booked for two adults and our 3 year old, but there wasn’t a towel for my daughter. Housekeeping brought one the next day and added shower gel, though they also handled personal belongings, which they shouldn’t. I know she stayed free, but a child still matters. The pool area is another mixed point. The lifeguard hands out towels, but still doesn’t wipe up the water around the pool, and people fall. Parking is available on site for a fee. I’d choose a room at the very top if I stayed again.

The friendly service at the restaurant and the family atmosphere made me very happy with this hotel. It’s central and well placed for trips to Szrenica and the Kamieńczyk and Szklarka waterfalls. The pool is nice, and the food was tasty. Breakfast was especially good, with the coffee and tea worth mentioning. I had a deluxe room for 3 nights at a price below what I expected, and the service all around made for a very good stay. I recommend it.

Breakfast and the restaurant are the big pluses, with lots of choices, including vegan and vegetarian options. The spa and the hotel’s overall look are good too, and service at reception, housekeeping, and room service was great. Some rooms are starting to feel a bit old and may need renovation soon, but that didn’t bother me much.

The rooms were clean, breakfast was lovely, and the service was great. You can have dinner there too.
