The rooms stink, and everything squeaks. Nails stick out of the floor, and the toilet doesn’t work. Wherever you go, you hear “blyaty.” The owner avoids answering questions about these problems. The owner’s dog, Mati, was the only good thing. The location is awful too, 3 km from the center. Worst vacation ever.
The people and the time we spent together mattered most on our long weekend with seven family members. This 300-year-old house gets its atmosphere from the people around it. We could have managed the rather spartan conditions, and even things breaking, if it had been clean. It brought back memories of hiking from one mountain shelter to another. A place for anyone who doesn't need luxury.
The hostess is always there with a smile and a warm welcome. The rooms have a lovely romantic look, and the place itself is beautiful. I really recommend it!
We enjoyed the tasty breakfast and the owners were really nice. The only small downside was the windows leaking a little. It was cold and windy, and that made them somewhat noisy.
Such a lovely atmosphere and beautiful views. After your first visit, you just want to return.
