Marek, the owner, really goes out of his way to make guests comfortable, and the service was exceptional. Breakfast, included in the price, was delicious, and our room was clean and quiet. The location is superb, right in the city center among restaurants and shops, while still within walking distance of the chair lift and hiking trails. I recommend staying here and would happily return.

For the price, this is a really good deal. The food in the restaurant is freshly made and good, and breakfast was more than enough, with a nice range of choices. A great place so far!

The restaurant deserves 5 stars for its delicious, generous breakfasts, and the service there was nice. We didn’t try dinner, though it was fully booked every day. The hotel gets only 2 from me because cleanliness matters to me, and that was a real problem. The rooms were warm and the location was good, but I probably won’t return. On entering, the carpet on the stairs hadn’t been vacuumed. The room looked all right at first, but its carpet seemed barely vacuumed, if at all, and I didn’t want to step on it. The walls were stained, paint was smeared on the light switches, and there was a terrible amount of dust above the bed, clearly not from just the previous day. The curtains and drapes were dirty too. The bathroom smelled of sewage, water leaked from the shower, and we had to put a towel underneath to stop it flooding. The shower tiles were dirty and there were cobwebs in the corners. The balcony was very large, but sadly wasn’t cleaned either.
