Willa Olimp Retro

The house looks lovely, and the neighborhood is peaceful. I only saw it from outside, though.

I only took in the outside, but what a striking villa. The stone and granite lower level supports a lovely wooden upper section, and there are carved details across the front. It looks as though it might be a guesthouse. I’d guess it dates to the late 19th century.

Breakfast was good, which is why I’m giving it one star. The rest needs a lot of work. The pool is usable, but due for renovation, and the jacuzzi that was meant to be there is missing. Getting between the retro building and the main one for breakfast or the pool is confusing, and coming back from the pool in bad weather can leave you sick. I get the retro look, but the squeaky beds and shower that flips between hot and cold are too much. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The pictures give the wrong impression, and there isn’t even a swimming pool at the property. The rooms have a communist-era feel and smell of sewage. Hot water may run out while you’re showering, and check-in can begin as late as 6 PM. For breakfast, the kids ended up eating salad because all that was left was bread and liverwurst, which not everyone likes. A complete disaster.
