The restaurant waitress was lovely, and the baguette with goat cheese was really good. My chicken breast, though, was undercooked, and I didn’t go back. There’s no elevator, and all the rooms are on the second and third floors. They switch the heaters off during the day. Evening guest service felt lazy: the woman locked the entrance and went to sleep. The hotel took care of our laundry but didn’t leave it in our room. We had to wait until we got back after 19:00 to collect it. A couple of employees were nice, and the manager was a gentleman, but where was the hospitality otherwise?

The historic decor is great, and the soups were very good. This is about the restaurant, and I expected more from the place. The main dishes and desserts were only average, not the high quality I’d hoped for.

I’d stay here again. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished, breakfast was much better than I expected, and checkout at 12 means there’s no need to rush. For a 3-star hotel, the standard is very good. I’ve seen worse at some 4-star places.

We were there for a wedding and stayed overnight. The food was good, and so was the service. The mattresses need replacing. The beds have very soft spring mattresses that are noisy and too soft. It was quite hot, and the hotel charged an extra 10 PLN per room to use the AC. Be careful with flushing the toilet, using the shower, or turning on the heating in winter, they might charge you at checkout.
