Hotel Karolina

The rooms and lounges looked really nice, but the meals were a letdown: small servings at incredibly high prices. After lunch and dinner I went to bed hungry, nearly 200 PLN poorer. Feels like this "motel" had its best days ages ago. The salad I was served seemed past its expiration date too.

The market square and a good Italian-run pizzeria are nearby. There’s no place to park a bicycle, though. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was okay. My room worked fine for one quick night. Some parts of the hotel could use renovation and paint. I was there in summer and wondered how much the nearby school or preschool affected the peace, though I’m not even sure which one it was. I’d give it three and a half.

The breakfasts were delicious, and the rooms were comfortable with amenities above standard. Staff were very friendly and capable, and ready to help or offer advice. They clearly look after their guests. It’s a small, pleasant hotel beside a housing estate, about a seven-minute walk from Tarnobrzeg’s market square. The neighborhood is quiet at night. Avoid this place, it’s a total dump. It’s filthy, there’s no service, and they don’t make up the room. I stayed for seven days.
