What stood out was the history and traditional decor, especially the entrance doors and hall. It felt like stepping back in time, and was a welcome change from a generic hotel. The place was quiet, with a lovely big garden, free secure parking, and the town square within walking distance. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I only stayed two nights because my plans changed, but I’d happily return and would love to see it in summer. Just note there’s breakfast only, no lunch or dinner. Cheers, guys.

From the outside, the place looks perfect, but our room was a disappointment. We were given a basement room that reminded me of rooms in the red light district. The curtains wouldn’t close, the towels smelled bad, and there was no soap or shower gel in the bathroom. Avoid this place!

Don’t stay here. The older woman managing the hotel was disrespectful and the worst hotel manager I’ve ever encountered. She went into our room while we were out for lunch.
