Great location, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The filth is horrible, you’ll have to throw your socks away after a day. There’s no reception from afternoon until night, so the building feels abandoned and luggage left for storage is unsupervised. Once the gate code expires at 11 a.m., there’s no way to use the lobby after checkout. It doesn’t really feel like a hotel anymore. Find somewhere better.

The breakfast was satisfying, and it’s served in the opposite house, which has beautiful ceilings and interiors. The hotel serves instant coffee, so for a good cup in the morning I’d head to one of the cafes on the main street. For a 3*** hotel, I found it good and appropriate. The location is excellent for visiting Torun’s historical areas and top attractions. A few room fixes would improve comfort: the toilet door lock and shower holder need attention, two water glasses would be nice, and the curtain mechanism needs fixing.

My wife’s only complaint was that there were no tea-making facilities. We also thought the tasty breakfast could have been warmer, and the orange juice was tepid instead of cold. Otherwise, we were treated like five-star guests, especially as I need extra pillows for health reasons, and I’d stay again. The rooms were excellent, with air conditioning, and everything was presented well and very clean.

For what I paid, it was a good deal. The room and bathroom were big, and the location was perfect. The bathroom window needs repair. If you’re waiting for a replacement window, put up a plywood board, not paper. Breakfast was simple but OK for a small hotel.
